Only 10 lucky young Latinas walked the runway with the titles of Finalists for the Miss Florida Latina and Miss Teen Florida Latina Pageants. This historic pageantry moment marks the first time five titles are awarded for each division in one night. Miss Miami Latina, Jimena Ordonez and Miss Teen Orlando Latina, Joeliz Velez, were chosen are the two ladies who will embark on a journey across the state and beyond promoting personal development, self-esteem and cultural pride of Latino heritage. These ladies will participate in the nationally acclaimed Miss Latina US and Miss Teen Latina US, respectively.

Saturday, August 29, 2009 - Miss Florida Latina and Miss Teen Florida Latina raised awareness about the dangers of childhood obesity, plus excersice to Zumba during a special event held at Lifestyle Family Fitness located in Hunter’s Creek with their most popular Zumba instructor: Mari!
