ELIGIBLITY
 
MISS FLORIDA LATINA CONTESTANTS
  • Must be at least 18 and under 28 years of age as of September 1, 2010.
  • Must never have participated in a previous national MISS US LATINA Pageant.
  • May only compete in one MISS US LATINA State Pageant per pageant year.
  • Must not be married or never have been married.
  • Must never have given birth to a child, can not be pregnant or be a parent. 
MISS TEEN FLORIDA LATINA CONTESTANTS
  • Must be at least 14 and under 18 years of age as of September 1, 2010.
  • Must never have participated in a previous national MISS TEEN US LATINA Pageant.
  • May only compete in one MISS TEEN US LATINA State Pageant per pageant year.
  • Must not be married or never have been married.
  • Must never have given birth to a child, can not be pregnant or be a parent.

ALL CONTESTANTS

 

  • Must be of Latin American or Iberian origin by birth or ancestry.
  • Must be of good health and moral character.
  • Have an attractive appearance and personality.
  • Must be a naturally born female, a citizen or legal resident of the United States, and at least ONE of the following must be true:
    1. Have been born in Florida, although attending college/University or are working elsewhere OR

    2. Lived in Florida during your formative years; elementary, middle or high school, college or university OR

    3. Have parents or family living in Florida (permanent and primary residency in the state of Florida), although attending college/University or working elsewhere OR

    4. Going to to school in Florida or will go to school in Florida (as a full-time student at a college/university or boarding school), although you or your parents live elsewhere OR

    5.  
      Must be or will become a resident of Florida for work or career commitments.
  • Must be willing to release, unconditionally and forever, any claim against Miss Florida Latina, its parent and affiliated or related companies and their respective officers, directors, partners, employees, agents and assigns, which they may have by virtue of their participation in their state pageant, or by any use of their name, likeness, voice, and/or biography in connection with their state pageant, including use in promotional and advertising material.
  • Must understand and agree that all issues as to eligibility shall be determined by Miss Florida Latina, and they must agree to abide by that determination both as to themselves and other applicants.

No contestant or any member of your immediate family can be employed by the Miss Florida Latina Pageant system, or any of its subsidiaries. (If contestant or any member of their immediate family is employed by any of the foregoing or any firm or corporation controlled or affiliated with any of them, then they must notify the pageant director immediately, in writing, so that their eligibility may be determined.)
